This course is mandatory for all real estate licensees in the State of Hawai`i intending to renew their license. For the 2019-2020 biennium as in previous cycles, the Core Course is divided into two parts (Part A and Part B). Each part is, in turn, divided into two sections. and the second section covers one or more topics of current interest or importance to real estate licensees as determined by the REC.

For 2019, Part A is entitled Protect Your License and is, in turn, divided into two sections. The first section covers the new laws enacted by the Hawai`i State Legislature during the 2019 legislative session. In the second section, we review and discuss applicable laws that pertain to real estate licensees. Common pitfalls in dealing with clients and customers are the focus. This course is designed to keep you in good standing with the state licensing agency and to avoid costly mistakes that can get your license suspended or revoked.
